Started driving an 18 wheeler when a guy from texas had a spook house that traveled all over the country to state fairs. Got my chauffers lic and started driving for him. Then a few years later had a chance to go to truck driving school or Chef school, dont know if I made the right choice because I love cooking. So in 1979 I became a long haul trucker. It broke up my marriage, because I was never home.
I've worked for a few companys and traveled to every state a few times, if you are thinking about learning to drive, think again. There is so many rules that it is hard to make a living now. But if you have you're mind made up and need some guideance click on the mail box and send me an email.
I am a former Marine and if you are a vet I know of companies that will train you to drive a truck. They will take the cost out of you're pay or you have to signup with them for at least a year to be eligible. You have to pay your dues no matter where you go. Then if you keep your record clean you can make good money if you know what companies will treat you right. If you have at least 2 years exp and want to run regional you can apply to Truline Corp where I have been for 7 years.
I will be adding pages where you can purchase clothing and equiptment that you will need. Also golves, curtains for your sleeper, I want to sell GoPro cameras for you're protection because there are scammers out there trying to make a buck off of you. And items to make it eaiser for you on the road. So I also want to add a page of your favorite truckstops for either the service or food so email me also with pics and suggestions for more content.
